We had a fantastic turnout in some appalling weather conditions for a big clean up at Walton upon Thames. The river banks around Desborough island do seem to be a magnet for people leaving litter and debris so requires regular attention.

With the steely 16 that came out on Sunday it meant that we could sweep the entire length of the reach, to the furthest spots.

We collected a total of 8 bin bags of rubbish, 3 broken chairs, a double blow up bed? and other items

A great show by everyone that gave up their Sunday morning to do some good for the Thames, we applaud you all.
